HPUMC Blood Drive

The last blood drive was a great success - and we have plans to make the next one even better!  We could not have done it without you!  Thanks!

It's so easy to save a life. Just sit back and share a pint with us. That's all it takes. It's not as if it's a difficult thing to do. When you show up, we'll ask a few questions (confidentially) about your health and lifestyle (just to make sure you haven't been exposed to anything infectious). We'll take a drop of blood from your finger to make sure you're not anemic. Then we'll take your blood donation which is just under a pint. This should take about 10 - 15 minutes.

Most people don't feel a thing, apart from a terrific sense of well-being that they've helped save a life, that is. To encourage donors to come between 12:15-2:00 p.m., a light lunch will be served to all who are waiting to give blood. Our church has blood credits available for any member that might need them. Please contact Rev. Terry Jones (214.523.2118) to get the credits released for you or your family member.

The HPUMC Blood Drive happens three times a year in association with Carter Bloodcare.
