The Vision
The Academy of Christian & Life Enrichment Studies has embarked on the journey of providing adult Christian education for its members and visitors of Highland Park United Methodist Church and for the larger community. It is the vision of The Academy of Christian & Life Enrichment Studies to bring you and others together in a small group,  Christian environment where you are encouraged to develop your understanding of the faith through various studies, and to share experiences and Christian community, and its ultimately find that place where faith and life intersect. The Faculty of The Academy of Christian & Life Enrichment Studies is a diverse group of Laity membership from our church, professionals in their field, clergy and seminary professors who through their knowledge and the depth of their faith will help lead you closer to the love and Word of God.

Highland Park United Methodist Church is a growing, vital ministry in Dallas. With the completion of our new building and remodeling of our existing space, we have seen a corresponding growth in many of the ministries of our church.

The Academy of Christian & Life Enrichment Studies has become a valuable resource in connecting the church’s members and visitors with small groups within the church. The Academy strives to meet the needs of each individual’s needs.

I urge you to read through the catalog and sign up for the classes that apply most directly to where you are on your faith journey. I hope that every one of us will not only take courses ourselves but invite friends to join us as well.

I believe that to fulfill God’s mission for this church is to change the city of Dallas for Jesus Christ. We must rise to meet this challenge that God has placed before us, and proclaim the hope and love of Jesus Christ to a community in need of renewal and transformation.
