What is the goal of VBS? To teach our children about the life and ministry of Jesus through the presentation of biblical stories.  To provide an opportunity for children to grow closer to God while participating in music, drama, crafts, games and small group lessons.

What is this year’s theme? Power Lab- Power up for Jesus. VBS will focus on one key biblical concept each day which will be reinforced through the activities and daily challenge.  Through the daily challenge, kids will live out each bible point at home. 

What are the daily themes?

 

Monday	Jesus gives us the power to be thankful	Luke 17: Jesus heals 10 lepers
Tuesday	Jesus gives us the power to help others	John 9: Jesus gives sight to a blind man
Wednesday	Jesus gives us the power to be brave	Matthew 14: Jesus gives Peter courage
Thursday	Jesus gives us the power to live forever	Luke 23 & 24: Jesus dies and comes back to life
Friday	Jesus gives us the power to tell others about God	Acts 2: The Holy Spirit comes at Pentecost
