Wednesday, July 4 - Tours
Eglise Notre Dame la Riche

The Chancel Choir sang for a full church in Eglise Notre Dame la Riche in Tours.  Following the performance, they were approached by a man who thanked the choir for bringing so many people to their church and for the full church audience of 300 people.  He said there are never that many people in their church.  He also thanked the choir for singing the Faure Requiem because it might bring some of those people back to the church.

Friday, July 6 - Lyon
Cathedrale St. Jean

Sunday, July 8 - Aix-en-Provence
Cathedrale Saint Sauveur

The choir arrives at the Cathedrale Saint Sauveur in Aix-en-Provence.              David & Chris pose with the cathedral organ.

The cathedral was completely filled at Aix-en-Provence for the Chancel Choir's final performance.  Comments after the concert included:  "When your choir sings, they pray!" and "The tone of your choir is so beautiful."
Several people wandered in on their way to the opera which started at 10:00 p.m.  Some would start to leave and then come back in because they liked the music.  One man held up his opera tickets, tore them in half and stayed for the remainder of the concert.
