Identical services anchor the worship life of Highland Park United Methodist Church, with Holy Communion celebrated on the first Sunday of the month, and the sacrament of Christian baptism, especially for infants, observed virtually every week. Dynamic preaching by Senior Minister Rev. Mark Craig and stirring music by the youth (8:30) and chancel choirs (9:30 & 11:00) make these hours the central part of our worship as a congregation.

Believing that the scriptures call us to "offer to God an acceptable worship with reverence and awe," services in the quiet intimacy of Cox Chapel, led by Rev. Jeff Hall, embody the rich tradition of Christian worship.  Though different in format and feel, at the heart of each service is the proclamation of God's Word and the celebration of Holy Communion.  The 8:30 service is less formal; it begins with singing of hymns chosen by the congregation.  The 11:00 service is robustly liturgical and deeply rooted in the Anglo-Catholic tradition as interpreted by John Wesley.
